The 46th Epping Forest South Scouts participated in the Patronal Festival. 15 scouts and 3 scout leaders led by Group Scout Leader David Gaylor, with Scout Leader Andrew Rich and Asst Scout Leader Richard “Rucksac ” Watson. 

Our guest preacher was Fr Lee Clark, Vicar of St Philip the Apostle Tottenham, who is also the Area Scouts Commissioner. He delivered a powerful sermon addressed to the scouts and the congregation to be like St Barnabas, searching and encouraging future followers of Christ and future Christian leaders who could become like St Paul. 

Indeed, the charism of St Barnabas, the son of encouragement or consolation, is the anointing that we share in this parish church.
