One of my favourite services in the year. A traditional carol service with readings, carols for all to sing, and glorious carols sung by our excellent parish choir. Seven readings tell the story of Jesus born among us: the promise of a Messiah in the Hebrew Scriptures, the story of Jesus's birth in Luke's Gospel, and the significance of Jesus birth including the glorious prologue of the Gospel according to St John.
