Holy Communion and Junior Church

Occuring
for 1 hour, 15 mins
Venue
Kidbrooke, St Nicholas
Address
Whetstone Road Kidbrooke London, SE3 8PX, United Kingdom

Holy Communion for the Second Sunday before Lent. Junior Church takes place in the hall at the same time.
First reading: Proverbs 8.1, 22-31
Gospel: John 1, 1-14

In the two weeks of 'ordinary time' between the end of Epiphany and the beginning of Lent, we shall be reflecting upon the process of change: how we should feel about it, how 'change' is a positive element of ongoing creation, and how we might ourselves seek to initiate change in ourselves and in the world around us. God himself is unchanging, but our human understanding of him, both as individuals and as societies, can and should change as we deepen our faith and seek to know him better.
