Come and join us tomorrow 26 July at 10.00 a.m. for Morning Prayer and Holy Rosary either on the livestream or in person. We will be celebrating the minor feast day of SS Joachim and Anna, parents of the Blessed Virgin Mary. They are mentioned in two Infancy Gospels in the Apocrypha, the Book of James and the Gospel of the Birth of Mary. Origen, the great Christian philosopher, knew the Book of James so it is clearly a very early text from the 2nd century AD, whereas it is now thought that the Gospel of the Birth of Mary was spurious. Either way, it is sure that Our Lady had human parents!

St Michael & All Angels

St Michael and all Angels' is a friendly multicultural church located in the heart of Walthamstow, very close to the vibrant high street.

We are currently in interregnum at St Michael's but are looking forward to our new full-time priest very, very soon.

We would like to thank Fr. Alex Summers and his family for their hard work and for bringing the community together in the 6 years they were with us.

Please pop in and join us at one of our services. You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram @stmichaelstow.

God Bless
