Tomorrow 16 April is Low Sunday which also used to be known as Quasimodo Sunday. The entrance antiphon (also called the Introit) for Quasimodo Sunday began with: "Like newborn infants," or, in Latin, "quasi modo geniti infantes." Although following various liturgical reforms that introit does not appear to be used any more, the name has stuck in parts of Europe.

Even if tomorrow is called 'Low' it is still part of the highest festival of all, Easter, which lasts for 40 days! Come and join us to continue celebrating Our Lord's Resurrection at 10.30 a.m. at our Parish Mass. All are welcome either on the livestream or in person!

St Michael & All Angels

St Michael and all Angels' is a friendly multicultural church located in the heart of Walthamstow, very close to the vibrant high street.

We are currently in interregnum at St Michael's but are looking forward to our new full-time priest very, very soon.

We would like to thank Fr. Alex Summers and his family for their hard work and for bringing the community together in the 6 years they were with us.

Please pop in and join us at one of our services. You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram @stmichaelstow.

God Bless
