'Faithful Cross, above all other, One and only noble Tree! '

We commemorate the terrible events of Good Friday at 3.00 p.m. in the most solemn liturgy of the Church's year. The Gospel of the Passion is read and we venerate the Cross, the instrument of our salvation, reminding us of the price Jesus paid to save us from our sins. No consecration occurs on Good Friday, but the Blessed Sacrament is brought from the Altar of Repose where it was taken on Maundy Thursday, and we receive in one kind only. All are welcome either on the live stream or in person.

St Michael & All Angels

St Michael and all Angels' is a friendly multicultural church located in the heart of Walthamstow, very close to the vibrant high street.

We are currently in interregnum at St Michael's but are looking forward to our new full-time priest very, very soon.

We would like to thank Fr. Alex Summers and his family for their hard work and for bringing the community together in the 6 years they were with us.

Please pop in and join us at one of our services. You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram @stmichaelstow.

God Bless
