Tomorrow 2 April is Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week. Come and join us at 10.15 a.m. (note the earlier time!) outside the church in Northcote Road for the Palm Sunday Gospel, the blessing of palm crosses and our procession as we sing hymns, including 'All Glory, Laud and Honour' and celebrate Christ's triumphal entry into Jerusalem. If you are not able to walk with us, then stay in church and as the procession enters the church, join in the introit hymn, 'Ride on, ride on in majesty'. The Gospel of the Passion (from St Matthew) will be read and the Paschal Candle extinguished, as we enter into the most solemn week of the Church's year. After the triumph and the hosannas, the Last Supper, the Betrayal and the Cross await. All are welcome either on the livestream or in person! 'Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!'

St Michael & All Angels

St Michael and all Angels' is a friendly multicultural church located in the heart of Walthamstow, very close to the vibrant high street.

We are currently in interregnum at St Michael's but are looking forward to our new full-time priest very, very soon.

We would like to thank Fr. Alex Summers and his family for their hard work and for bringing the community together in the 6 years they were with us.

Please pop in and join us at one of our services. You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram @stmichaelstow.

God Bless
