Come and join us tomorrow as we celebrate one of the great bishops of the Church of England. Thomas Ken was one of the non-juring bishops who refused to sign the oath of loyalty to William of Orange following his ousting of James II. He was deprived of his bishopric but adhered to the catholic though reformed doctrines of the Church, and helped to keep that flame alive. He wrote many hymns including 'Awake my soul and with the sun', 'Glory to thee my God this night' and one of the greatest hymns to the Blessed Virgin Mary 'Her virgin eyes saw God incarnate born'. All are welcome, either on the livestream or in person.

St Michael & All Angels

St Michael and all Angels' is a friendly multicultural church located in the heart of Walthamstow, very close to the vibrant high street.

We are currently in interregnum at St Michael's but are looking forward to our new full-time priest very, very soon.

We would like to thank Fr. Alex Summers and his family for their hard work and for bringing the community together in the 6 years they were with us.

Please pop in and join us at one of our services. You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram @stmichaelstow.

God Bless
