Come and join us tomorrow Sunday 12 March for the Third Sunday of Lent. We are looking at the water of life which Moses strikes from the rock in the desert. Jesus has a complex conversation with the Samaritan woman at Jacob's Well; she thinks he is offering her water so that she will not have to keep going to the well to draw it, but it is clear that he is talking about a very different kind of water, and he tells her that she will no longer worship God on the mountain or in Jerusalem, but will worship God in spirit and in truth. This is the water of life. The Samaritans (who were abhorred by the Jews) urge Jesus to stay with them and as a result of his words they become believers. We all pray this Lent that we too may be given the water of life.

St Michael & All Angels

St Michael and all Angels' is a friendly multicultural church located in the heart of Walthamstow, very close to the vibrant high street.

We are currently in interregnum at St Michael's but are looking forward to our new full-time priest very, very soon.

We would like to thank Fr. Alex Summers and his family for their hard work and for bringing the community together in the 6 years they were with us.

Please pop in and join us at one of our services. You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram @stmichaelstow.

God Bless
