Come and join us tomorrow 12 February for our Parish Mass on Creation Sunday! All the readings are about God's creation, in the beginning in Genesis, then St Paul notes how we have marred God's image in us, such that the whole creation is groaning in birth pangs as it awaits the birth of the new creation freed from the bondage of decay. Jesus in the Gospel reading tells us not to keep worrying about the future but to let God provide. As Our Lord observes, not even Solomon in all his glory (and Solomon was very fond of bling!) was arrayed as gloriously as the lilies of the field. He talks about the birds of the air being provided for. When you next go down Walthamstow Market, observe the delightful pied wagtails which rush around with their tails wagging, picking up little bits of food here and there, then flitting up over the rooftops!

We will be live as usual at 10.30 a.m. on the livestream. All are welcome, as always!

St Michael & All Angels

St Michael and all Angels' is a friendly multicultural church located in the heart of Walthamstow, very close to the vibrant high street.

We are currently in interregnum at St Michael's but are looking forward to our new full-time priest very, very soon.

We would like to thank Fr. Alex Summers and his family for their hard work and for bringing the community together in the 6 years they were with us.

Please pop in and join us at one of our services. You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram @stmichaelstow.

God Bless
