Venue
St Michael & All Angels
Address
Northcote Road/Palmerston Road WALTHAMSTOW, LONDON., E17 6PQ, United Kingdom

Tomorrow 12 June at Morning Prayer and Holy Rosary at 10.00 a.m. we will be celebrating St Barnabas (his feast day is in fact today). St Barnabas was a Jewish Cypriot and a Levite, was an early Christian disciple but not one of the Twelve. He introduced Paul to the other apostles, and together he and Paul were sent to Antioch, undertaking the first missionary journey starting in Cyprus. Barnabas supported the Gentile Christians at the council of Jerusalem. Eventually Barnabas and Paul quarrelled: Barnabas returned to Cyprus and evangelised it. Legend claims that he died at martyr at Salamis in AD61. His name means 'son of consolation'.

All are welcome either in person or on the livestream!

St Michael & All Angels

St Michael and all Angels' is a friendly multicultural church located in the heart of Walthamstow, very close to the vibrant high street.

We are currently in interregnum at St Michael's but are looking forward to our new full-time priest very, very soon.

We would like to thank Fr. Alex Summers and his family for their hard work and for bringing the community together in the 6 years they were with us.

Please pop in and join us at one of our services. You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram @stmichaelstow.

God Bless
