St John's Walthamstow

St. John’s is an evangelical Anglican church. We want to welcome every person, young and old into our diverse church community.

Our hope is to help everyone discover who Jesus is, why He came and how He wants us to respond so we grow in understanding and faith. In other words, we want to grow disciples of all ages and make disciples of all nations.

We all need encouragement from God's Word and God's people, so we meet together as one Church family in our building. You can also watch our services online at https://www.youtube.com/@stjohnswalthamstow.

We have a full programme of activities during the week for people of all ages to learn more of Jesus.  See http://www.stjohns.ws/events for more information.

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Walthamstow: St John is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Chelmsford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO, Cori Bromfield or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor - see https://www.stjohns.ws/safeguarding for more information. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
