About Us

The church is Britain’s first Barn Church, constructed in 1929 from a 17th century barn from Oxted in Surrey. The west end has been converted into a large parish room with gallery above looking down the length of the building. 

Our church is a popular venue for weddings due to its unique appearance.

The parish is almost entirely residential and many of the residents work in London.

The church and adjacent hall are a hub for the local neighbourhood as there are few other community facilities in the area.

We have an active Junior Church with groups for the under and over 5s.

All God's children are welcome at The Barn.
