Dear Friend of St. Peter’s,

For a variety of reasons, 2017 has again been a rather quiet year, but you will know that, through your generosity, the outer door of the de Crespigny chapel has been renewed and funds exist for the repair of the porch doors. The urgent need to replace the Lychgate structure has caused a delay because specialist carpenters have such busy diaries, but we hope 2018 will see these doors completed, funded entirely from Friends’ contributions. I don’t need to remind you that the ‘Friends’ exists for all members of the church and for those of us who don’t necessarily attend regular services. It is a means of assisting with the upkeep of this beautiful building and its preservation for generations to come. Your contributions are more important than ever in these changing times, when everything is so expensive and budgets restricted. Please consider joining or renewing your membership for 2018.
