A-Z Guide to Life at St Mark's
Alpha:A 10 week course for those interested in finding out more about the Christian faith and also an excellent way to make a lot of new friends and to become involved in Church life.
Bookstall:
Books, CDs and videos are on sale each Sunday, and orders can be taken
for anything not on the bookstall.
Children's and Youth Activities:
There are various activities for children and young people especially during school holidays including a week away in the summer.
Church Teams:
As we continue to grow as a church, we are seeking to develop dedicated teams with specific roles in the life of St Mark's, including: stewarding, refreshments, sound system, cleaning, flower arranging etc.
House Groups:
House groups meet weekly in homes in and around the area. They aim to build one another up through worship, Bible study and prayer and to
encourage one another to extend God's kingdom. This is an excellent way to deepen friendships and to grow in our faith.
Ministry Team:
We have a prayer ministry team in both the morning and evening services who are trained to pray with people towards the end of each service.
Nigerian Anglican Fellowship:
Meets in the church at 6pm on the last Saturday of every month.
Parents and Toddlers:
A large play area with lots of toys and the opportunity to get to know other parents/child carers over coffee. Meets in Montgomery Hall, 9.30-12.00 on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.
St Mark's After School Club:
Takes place in Montgomery Hall, Mon-Fri, 3.30-6.00pm.
Wellspring:
A women's group that meets to share and pray on Thursday mornings,
10.0012.00 in Montgomery Hall. We also have a Women's Celebration in the church once a quarter.
