As you will all be aware the Government have now announced a new national lockdown from 6 January 2021 instructing us all to stay at home except for certain limited exemptions. One of these exemptions is for public worship, however Southend Borough Council have written to all churches asking the we voluntarily close our buildings for worship for the moment.

Therefore, with a heavy heart, we have decided that at St Alban’s we will continue our period of offering our worship online only until the end of January when we will review the situation again.
