In the year 824, a Saxon Thegn named Leofstan presented Sudcera (Southchurch) to the monks of Canterbury. This is the first written evidence of our existence so we are celebrating our 1200th anniversary this year!
The wait for our new priest is nearly over. Mother Claire Abraham will be licensed as Priest in Charge at Holy Trinity on Thursday 18th April at 7.30pm. All are welcome to this service, led by Bisop Adam of Bradwell.
