Accessibility

Toilets are situated off the main hall corridor

Baby changing facilities are available off the lobby entrance

There is a covered area by the hall doors with space to park bikes.

The car park is on the level and easily accessed from the main road. The entrance area to both church and hall are gently sloped with a hand rail, leading to double doors, for easy access. The car park is illuminated at night.

The accessible toilet is off the hall lobby with facilities suitable for those who would appreciate extra support.

2 blue badge parking spaces are near entrance to the church.

A defibrillator suitable for use for children and adults is available inside the lobby area of the hall

The entrance to the double church doors is on a gentle slope for ease of access.

Braille would be available by arrangement

Large print orders of service are available.

Our Building

The windows in the sanctuary are contemporary and designed by a member of the congregation.

Our Tea and Chat on the second Wednesday each month is an enjoyable time for the community and a Warm Hub in the winter months.

The church has a small library of books, people are welcome to borrow.

We have two groups
Good News Club which meets during the service and is for younger children
Good News Group for Year 6 and above meet for discussion and have evening activities.

Bible study runs throughout the year, mainly Lent and Advent.

Brownies use our church hall on a Monday evening

Discipleship course

Exercise club is held on a Tuesday evening in the church hall

Guides is held in the church hall on a Monday evening

The Mothers Union meets on the second Tuesday afternoon each month, and in the evenings on the 5th Thursday. Mothers' Union also holds evening discussion groups. The members support local and national initiatives.

The church supports the Winter Night Shelter and Renewed Hope Trust

Parents and toddlers enjoy worship together during the services.

Mums and Babes meets every Wednesday, except during the summer holiday, 10.30 am to 12 noon
There is a covered pram park by the entrance doors

Bobtails Play Group use the church hall facilities during the week

Rainbows attend on a Monday afternoon

Other Features

The church is registered with Fair Trade and uses Fair Trade products. It also promotes Fair Trade Easter Eggs and Advent Calendars.

The church supports and assists with Horley Churches Together Food Bank

Prayer underpins all we do at St Francis. The Church has an active pastoral care group supporting the congregation. Prayers are held during the week in church, on zoom and with our email Prayer Group
