Sunday morning the congregation were welcomed by Nala, and her owner Tom.Nala is a support dog in Essex and works in local schools and at community events. Everyone was pleasantly surprised to be welcomed into the building by Nala, who enjoyed the coolness of the building while she rested on the cold floor. It was lovely to see the smiles on everyone's face as they stroked Nala on arrival.
Last Sunday morning the Churchyard was busy with locals from Hedingham Foodball Club and the village all helping to get the churchyard back on track. With all the rain and warm weather it has been almost impossible for our volunteer Bob to keep all the grass cut but with the help of the local community its all looking really great.Lovely to see the community pulling together to make the space somewhere the whole village can enjoy.Thank you to all who gave their time.
We held a wonderful Christingle Service at the beginning of December which was enjoyed by young and old. We learned about the great work which is done by The Children's Society as well as the significance of the Christingle and all its parts.I can confirm that the service was a great success and no sweets were left at the end of the morning.
The craft fair held in November was a huge success and raised £350. Even more exciting than raising money was all the new faces that we welcomed into the church and how much fun was had by all who attended. We love this sort of community event and are already busy planning the Christmas Fayre to be held on the 9th December. Many thanks to all who attended and made it such a wonderful day.
