About Us
Holy Trinity has a small, friendly congregation meeting in a large historic building. Our different Sunday services offer something for everyone. With the exception of the first Sunday in the month, services start at 11.00. On the first Sunday in the month Cafe Church is held at 9.45 for 10.00, with breakfast followed by activities for all ages and a short service at 10.30. Everybody is welcome.
The “Prayer for Littlebury” group meets every Thursday afternoon. We are very fortunate to have an active “Friends of Holy Trinity Church” who raise funds to help maintain our fine historic building and churchyard.
The oldest surviving parts of the church are the nave and south door, dating from around 1200. The construction is of flint rubble with detailing in clunch (a soft chalk). However, the church as we see it now is very much the product of a major restoration project in the 1870s, when the chancel and chancel arch were completely rebuilt; new windows, pulpit, choir stalls and pews installed, and a variety of other details added.
