St Edward the Confessor, Romford

Thank-you for viewing our page.

We are a welcoming church with regular weekly services.

We are also open for private prayer, and reflection throughout the week.

We have services every Sunday at 8am and 10am, with activities for children, and the opportunity to have a cup of tea and a chat at the end of the service. We welcome you to our services - and look forward to meeting you!

If you are interested in local history, our history goes back over six hundred years. The present church was built in 1849-50. The original church was consecrated in 1410 and we're proud of the three fine memorials of national significance which have been preserved: Sir Anthony Cooke (1576), Sir George Hervey (1605) and Dame Anne Carew (1605).

There is a lot of information on our website, or better than that, pop in and see us.

A warm welcome awaits.
