We'd love to hear from you
St Mary & St Peter Church is a grade II listed building. It's construction took place in 1248 AD, in the small village of Wennington. The church grounds hold a small graveyard. The congregation is mainly made up of villagers and local Rainham residents. This church works closely with St Helen & St Giles Church, Rainham, sharing the office and clerics. There is a regular Sunday morning service at 10am, the Eucharist (Holy Communion) service is currently held monthly with a general service other Sundays. A small choir, accompanied by guitar and piano, leads the hymns. This friendly church is most welcoming, offering refreshments and fellowship after the services. Weddings, christenings and funerals also take place here.
