About Us

St Stephen's Church serves a small village community near the coast of North Essex.  We are a small but welcoming congregation, meeting each Sunday and often on the fifth Sunday when we have a Joint Service at either Peldon or Wigborough churches.

We share coffee or other refreshments after each service and welcome visitors at any service.

Our PCC is working towards making the church nave very accessible to the local community for both public and private events.  We have renewed the floor and worked on the heating, lighting and electrics.   We also provide wifi (hopefully by summer 2022), a sound system and projection facilities for various types of events.  We have an accessible toilet, movable kitchen facilities and wet area for serving refreshments.
