Belchamp Otten church is situated in a prominent position and is within comfortable walking distance for those living in the village. The church is of Norman origin; it has a Norman south doorway which is protected by a 15th century porch. The mostly simple interior has at the west end four ornately carved 17th century oak posts.

The parish of Belchamp Otten: St Ethelbert and All Saints is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults.
