Today the uniformed organisations joined us for a Parade service at 10.00am for Harvest Thanksgiving. We also held a service of Holy Communion at 6.00pm.Thank you for all your kind donations which we have taken to HARP, Southend's homeless charity. Harvest WaterAid collection was £401.72
Following the announcement of the Queen's death on Thursday 8th September 2022 a bell ringing group formed in honour of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The group took it in turns to pull the rope and ring the bell 96 times - the Queen's age, for an hour. <br>
At 10.00am today we had our Mothering Sunday Parade Service where all the uniformed organisations joined us and everyone was given a bunch of flowers to give to their mother. After the service a member of our choir, John Hill, planted a tree at the edge of our church car park as part of the Queen's Jubilee Green Canopy project.
