St Mary's Gin Tasting

Occurring
for 2 hours, 30 mins
Venue
St Mary the Virgin
Address
St Mary the Virgin, Church Street Kelvedon Colchester, CO5 9AL, United Kingdom

Join us for a Gin Tasting evening in the Churchyard (inside if wet), with Pimm’s and Nibbles at 6.30 pm and the Gin Tasting proper at 7.00 pm.

Synonymous with British culture, Gin is in the midst of a boom and is now drunk worldwide. Come and learn something of its mysteries – Mike Pilbeam will explain the various types available. While juniper is the dominant flavour, Mike will show how other botanicals can be added and how the addition of these flavours marks the difference between the various styles.

The suggested donation is £25.00 per person – all proceeds to St Mary’s. Please book your place quickly with either Geraldine or Ruth as numbers are limited.

All Saints, Feering

Feering parish church stands in a traditional rural setting close to the Village Green and the local pub. Like St. Mary's church it has stood sentinel over the village for over 850 years.

The church contains many fine features not least the glorious East window which glows jewel like and contains many scenes from Our Lord's Passion.
