Welcome to St Margaret’s Church and to our Parish Eucharist. In it we recall the last meal of Christ with his friends in the Upper Room, and we recognise Him in the breaking of the bread. Although our faith is grounded in history, this service is not a nostalgic looking back to the events of the past: it is a celebration that in the Eucharist Christ is truly present to us now, and a promise of the glory that will be ours when the whole universe is made complete in him.

Safeguarding

Our parish of St Margaret of Antioch, Ilford is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Chelmsford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO, Jannis Abley or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor, Amanda Goh. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
