About Us

St Thomas's Church in the centre of Hullbridge Village is a modern building with a friendly, welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. 

Our family Eucharist at 9.30 every Sunday is open to all and newcomers and enquirers will find a warm welcome. On the third Sunday each month we hold a more informal Morning Worship service.

St Thomas's welcomes enquries about baptisms and weddings in the Church. Our modern building makes a warm and intimate atmosphere for these family events and we will be pleased to meet you and discuss your plans for your special day. If you live in Hullbridge or have a special (qualifying) connection with the church, please contact us for an initial conversation. 

We appreciate that family gatherings can also include the sadder occasions of funerals, and again we will do all that we can to help you plan an appropriate service in the church to commemorate the life of someone who has died.

In addition to the Church itself St. Thomas also has an adjoining hall which is available to hire. It has a modern well-equipped kitchen. It's ideal for children's parties and smaller family occasions as well as reguar weekly or monthly groups.
