These coffee mornings are specifically for the parents and carers of children and young adults with special educational needs (SEN).
They take place every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month (during term time only), from 10-11.30am, in the Holy Cross Church Hall.
They are an opportunity for parents and carers to come together in a relaxed atmosphere to share with one another the challenges and joys of caring for children and young adults with SEN.
During the gatherings, as well as chatting in smaller groups, there is also an opportunity for everyone to come together as a whole group.
We feel it is really important that everyone feels welcome and has an opportunity to get to know everyone else who attends these coffee mornings.

Our services in the church are on a Sunday morning, starting at 10.30am,and usually finishing around 11.45am. All services are Holy Communion services except on the 2nd Sunday of the month when it is a Family/Parade service.

We have a Sunday School for children that takes place during the morning service on the 1st, 3rd & 4th Sundays of the month (during term time only). It is for children in Key Stages 1 & 2. All welcome to join in.

Come along and join us for this special service.
We'll begin with the Crib Service during which we will sing some well-known Christmas carols and ask the children to place the figures of the different characters into the Nativity Scene.
Then we'll celebrate Christingles with the giving out of the oranges and acknowledging Jesus as the Light of the World!
All ages welcome.
Let the children come dressed as characters from the Christmas story (i.e. Mary or Joseph, or even a sheep!)
It's a fun service and a wonderful way to celebrate Christmas for all the family.

These take place in the Church Hall on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of every month, starting at 10am.

This is a monthly social gathering for anyone from the local community.

This will be a simple Communion service which will include the singing of well-known Christmas carols.
All welcome.

Every 2nd Sunday of the month we hold a Family/Parade service in the church at 10.30am. It usually lasts around 45 minutes. It is not a Holy Communion service. During the service we usually have a lot of congregational participation such as the children taking part and answering questions during the talk, and everyone signing some of the songs we use. Everyone is welcome to join, both young and old.
