These coffee mornings are specifically for the parents and carers of children and young adults with special educational needs (SEN).
They take place every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month (during term time only), from 10-11.30am, in the Holy Cross Church Hall.
They are an opportunity for parents and carers to come together in a relaxed atmosphere to share with one another the challenges and joys of caring for children and young adults with SEN.
During the gatherings, as well as chatting in smaller groups, there is also an opportunity for everyone to come together as a whole group.
We feel it is really important that everyone feels welcome and has an opportunity to get to know everyone else who attends these coffee mornings.

Come along to our church hall and take part in an organised quiz, raising funds for the church.
Doors open at 7pm, Quiz starts at 7.15pm.
£8 per person, with a maximum of 8 people on a table.

Our services in the church are on a Sunday morning, starting at 10.30am,and usually finishing around 11.45am. All services are Holy Communion services except on the 2nd Sunday of the month when it is a Family/Parade service.

We have a Sunday School for children that takes place during the morning service on the 1st, 3rd & 4th Sundays of the month (during term time only). It is for children in Key Stages 1 & 2. All welcome to join in.

Every 2nd Sunday of the month we hold a Family/Parade service in the church at 10.30am. It usually lasts around 45 minutes. It is not a Holy Communion service. During the service we usually have a lot of congregational participation such as the children taking part and answering questions during the talk, and everyone signing some of the songs we use. Everyone is welcome to join, both young and old.

Maundy Thursday Service (17th April) at 8pm.
This service in the church will include the washing of feet - volunteers requested on the night.

Good Friday Meditations from 2-3pm in the church.
A hour long service of readings and music to contemplate on the moment Jesus died on the cross for us to save us from our sins.
All welcome.

Families are invited to come along and take part in some special activities all related to the Easter theme.
After a short service there will then be some refreshments served.

10.30am is our usual time for gathering to worship on a Sunday morning.
On this particular Sunday we will be focusing on the joy of Jesus rising from the dead on the first Easter Sunday morning!
It will be a Holy Communion service followed by an Easter Egg hunt for the children who are present.
