Here at Holy Cross Church we combine the two services of the Crib Service and the Christingle Service. Thus, during the singing of some very familiar carols, we begin with the placing of the different characters from the Christmas Story in the crib scene, followed by the lighting and distribution of the Christingles (i.e. oranges).
Both services are aimed at the children so everyone present can enjoy themselves as we have fun celebrating the real meaning of Christmas.

On Christmas Day itself we will be holding a Holy Communion service at 10.30am.
The service is always very special, filled with the singing of familiar carols and the telling of the story of the very first Christmas.
Even if you don't receive Holy Communion, please feel welcome to join us. You will be warmly invited to receive a blessing instead, if you wish.
