Fun for all ages and stages. Stalls, crafts and produce, Never Fully Dressed Pop up stall, activities for children, floral displays, afternoon teas and refreshments, (lunches on Saturday, BBQ on Sunday), licensed bar, dog show (on Sunday at 2pm), bric a brac and nearly new sale. Come on down! Free entry and free parking.

ACCESS AND PARKING: Please only drive via Down Hall Road and Church Road to access church (no driving access at all via Matching Tye and Newman's End as we will be blocking this off with stalls and an ice cream van! Pedestrian access still possible via this route). Main parking just before you get to the churchyard on the field off to the right - this will be signposted. Disabled parking and drop off for those with mobility issues - please drive on past the field and church and park in Matching Hall courtyards to your left.

Join us for our Festival Celebration Service - a service of the word with hymns, readings, prayers, all age activities and an interactive sermon. All welcome!

We hold a weekly prayer group at All Saints High Laver on Wednesdays at 9am - all are welcome to join us. We enjoy some music, listen to a bible reading and pray together. A lot of the time is spent in shared silent prayer for 30 mins - please arrive a little earlier ready to start at 9am.

Every Wednesday at 10am at All Saints, High Laver we hold a midweek service of Holy Communion.
You'd be most welcome to join us - we are usually about 12-14 people. On Ash Wednesday this service will include imposition of Ashes.

Our annual 10am Harvest Service with holy communion - please bring food items and toiletries to donate to the Harlow Food Bank. Check their website to see which items are needed at the moment: https://harlow.foodbank.org.uk/give-help/donate-food/

Our 4pm children's group initiative for 0 -11 yr olds with their parent/carer at Matching Feast Room CM17 0QZ once a month (on 13th September as a one off we will be having our annual party at High Laver Grange CM5 0DX - join us there instead). Fun, activities, craft, prayer, praise and refreshments.

Every 3rd Sunday of the month we hold a 10am Family Communion Service in Church. Do join us - all are welcome.

Group for young adults aged 17+ and adults. Come and discover more about the bible and God's purposes and call in your life. All welcome. The first session is Sunday 20th September 2026

On the 4th Sunday of every month we have a family service at All Saints, High Laver. This is open to all ages and stages - a service of music, readings and prayers led by our lay ministry team. Come and join us and stay for refreshments afterwards in church. You can come on your own or bring your grandchildren or children.

On the 1st Sunday of every month we hold a traditional 1662 Book of Common Prayer Holy Communion Service at St Mary the Virgin, Little Laver. This is a service with beautiful words, music and silence. All welcome.

The Friends of Lavers and Matching Churches jointly invite you to our Harvest Supper. Saturday 10th October 2026, 6.30pm sit-down for 7:00pm supper at Magdalen Laver Village Hall. At 10am on the 2nd Sunday of each month we hold a Common Worship Family Communion at St Mary's Matching, please do join us.

Saturday 21st November 2026 - 6pm sit down for 6:30pm prompt start. Quiz teams - tables of 8. Book as a complete table or as individuals and we will make up tables. Raffle on the night (please bring cash to buy tickets).
