At this service the church is decorated with palms to remember again Christ's triumphal entry into Jerusalem riding on a donkey and when crowds greeted him with shouts of 'Hosanna to the Son of David'
Palm Crosses are distributed and the service continues with a celebration of Holy Communion.

St Giles Church, Langford

A small, rural parish church, where morning worship takes place every Sunday. At most services Parish Communion is celebrated by a priest apart from the first Sunday when Morning Prayer is led by a member of the congregation. On fifth Sundays we are joined by other local churches either here or at Heybridge or Heybridge Basin. Our choir give added heart to our Sunday morning worship and after the service refreshments are served. Do come and visit our small, yet committed, congregation. There is a small car park just to the north of the church off the Witham Road B1018.
