Parish Communion

Monthly. Every Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth Sunday at for 1 hour
St Giles Church, Langford

Families and children, and people of all ages are welcome.
We gather together, listen to readings from the Bible and a sermon or talk, pray and sing together.
During the service, the whole congregation will be invited to share in the bread and wine. If you receive communion in your own church, you are welcome to receive communion here. If you do not normally receive communion, you are invited to come forward and receive a blessing.

This is held every Sunday apart from the first in the month. On fifth Sundays neighbouring congregations join together for a service held either at Langford, Heybridge or Heybridge Basin..

Morning Prayer

The service follows the structure of Common Worship Morning Prayer and is led by a Churchwarden. It is usually centred on a scriptural or seasonal theme with appropriate readings, music and prayers.

Carol Service

In the service, Christmas Carols and Lessons re-echo the songs of shepherds and angels from long ago proclaiming the birth of Jesus. We hear again God's living message of hope and faith for our world.

Christmas Day Family Communion
