St Augustine, Honor Oak Park

We worship God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit in a beautiful church set in a beautiful location near to the top of One Tree Hill. We worship God singing hymns and the poetry of the spoken words. We study the Bible so that we may deepen our faith and our understanding of God. We draw close to God when we celebrate Holy Communion together as we share in the bread and the wine. We pray that our faith may find true expression in how we live our lives.

St Augustine’s will be hosting an Alpha course on Saturday mornings commencing in early 2025. This course is for those who wish to explore Christian faith. Further details will appear on our website.

The hugely popular Pantomime is being planned for early 2025. Please check the church website early in January. Tickets will be available in due course via https://www.piratepantomimes.co.uk/

SPECIAL SERVICES AND EVENTS

At the end of the Saturday Café on 23rd November we will be holding our first listening circle, facilitated by councillor Gale Burns. 'What would it be like to be listened to by others with full attention? A listening circle is a structured group where people share their experiences, thoughts, and knowledge in a respectful, non-judgmental, confidential environment. Listening circles are different from debates or conversations; here people get some time being fully listened to without interruption on any subject they like.... how life is going, the challenges in the world, your relationship to the church and more. Come and try a group like this.'

There is a new art exhibition 'I HOPE YOU GET YOUR DREAMS' by Michael Williamson in the Parish Room. This can be viewed during the Saturday Café or by arrangement with the artist by phoning 0790 333 5178.
