With our excellent community room and rustic worship space, St George's provides hospitality and festivity as well as a space for heartfelt worship for the waterside community of Heybridge Basin. We meet weekly for a time of morning prayer or communion, and reflect together on God's goodness in our midst, whatever is happening to us or our neighbours. As well as pub and waterside services, we also run a monthly coffee morning for those feeling isolated or simply sociable and work with local partners, including The Friends of St George's and Row 4 A Reason, to support local and Developing World causes. St George's is also part of the HeyMaldon family of churches, and Churches Together in Maldon, so we share in bringing good news to in our local area.
St George's Heybridge Basin is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs.
