St Mary the Virgin

Welcome to St Mary's Church, Little Hallingbury - a rural village on the Herts/Essex borders, just south of the market town of Bishop's Stortford.

We are part of a group of the Six Villages group of churches in the Deanery of Harlow, and the Church of England Diocese of Chelmsford.

We are proud to worship in a beautiful and historic church building, and we look forward to welcoming you to share in one of our regular services. We would love to get to know you!

Safeguarding

The parish of Little Hallingbury: St Mary the Virgin is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, Christopher Harding.

The Diocese of Chelmsford website has safeguarding pages which contain vital links and information, including contacts for the Diocesan Safguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm, please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services. You can also visit our website safeguarding page for more information or to contact us about a safeguarding issue
