This year’s service has been put together by the Christian women of The Cook Islands. The Cook islanders have celebrated 200 years of Christianity in the group of 15 islands which is spread over nearly 800,000 square miles in the Pacific Ocean. Based on Psalm 139 this worship service invites us to recognise that God created each one of us with great attention and loving care. ‘We are unique and special and should cherish all aspects of who we are and of those around us. ‘

Welcome to St Mary's Church, Little Hallingbury - a rural village on the Herts/Essex borders, just south of the market town of Bishop's Stortford.

We are part of a group of the Six Villages group of churches in the Deanery of Harlow, and the Church of England Diocese of Chelmsford.

We are proud to worship in a beautiful and historic church building, ​and we look forward to welcoming you to share in one of our regular services. We would love to get to know you!

Our Benefice

Safeguarding

The parish of Little Hallingbury: St Mary the Virgin is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, Christopher Harding.
