St John the Baptist, Eltham

There has been a place of worship where the Church stands for over 900 years. Today, we hope to be a place of welcome for all who enter our doors; and a beacon of light on Eltham High Street.

Our Church family is made up of young and old, local and International, a mix of all the diversity God gifted us. We hope you can find your place in our community.

So, please do join us for services on Sundays and Thursdays at 10am. Otherwise, the Church is open on Saturdays, between 10-11am- feel free to drop in and have a chat.

The parish of Eltham: St John the Baptist is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Southwark’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services
