Recently there have been two fundraising events by members of the church, both named Rosie! Both Rosies have had personal experience of the devastating effects of cancer. And both ran for MacMillan Cancer Relief the not inconsiderable distance of 10k. Taken together their efforts raised 1800 pounds, and money continues to come in. 

There is news of a further fundraiser being organised by a young man at StB who is supporting the 6k memory walk for the Alzeimer's Society on 29th September 2019.
