Goodmayes: St Paul

St Paul's is an Anglo-Catholic church within the Church of England, part of the Diocese of Chelmsford and situated in the London Borough of Redbridge, just a 5 minute walk from Goodmayes railway station. We are a friendly, multi-ethnic, inclusive congregation, offering a warm welcome to everyone. Whilst greatly valuing and promoting our rich Anglo-Catholic heritage and traditions, we also greatly value and are supportive of women in ministry, at all levels of the church.

For baptisms, weddings, funerals and other church-related enquiries please contact the Vicar, The Reverend Janet Buchan.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Goodmayes: St Paul is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Chelmsford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Kim Bownas. She can be contacted at church or by e-mail [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor Amanda Knight Email: [email protected] or Danielle Law Email: [email protected]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
