About Us
Welcome to the Parish of St Andrew’s, Fingringhoe. Our church dates back to 1100AD. From the original small Norman nave it has altered much in appearance over the centuries, being considerably enlarged during the 14th century, rebuilding of the chancel , the addition of a south aisle and a tower. Among the treasures of St. Andrew's and fine , albeit faded, medieval wall paintings, monuments and carved bosse on the ceiling.
Fingringhoe is, along with the parishes of Abberton with Langenhoe, and East Donyland (or Rowhedge), part of the Donyland Benefice within the Witham Deanery in the Diocese of Chelmsford.
Services are held every Sunday, with details posted each month on A Church Near You.
