Welcome to St Andrew’s, a place of peace and quiet in the heart of our rural community.

Our Church building is open during the day for private prayer and just to offer a quiet space in a busy world. On Wednesday afternoons a volunteer will be there should you need anybody to speak to. You you are warmly invited to come along to our Sunday services at 10am and they are also live streamed should you wish to join us from home.

The parish of Colne Engaine is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, PSOs. The Diocese of Chelmsford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
