Work on repairing the roof to the nave, and associated parts of the building, is well underway and scheduled to be complete before the end of April. The church is still only open for regular Services and Funerals, and restrictions on access to the churchyard are being kept to a minimum. Once the work has been completed, these restrictions will cease. It is time for us to acknowledge those who have made funds available for this work to be undertaken. In no particular order we have received support from:-* The Friends of Essex Churches.* The Benefact Trust.* The Essex Community Foundation.* The Wolfson Foundation via the National Churches Trust.* Members of the congregation and other individuals both local and elsewhere.* Village organisations. To all of you, we are indebted for your generous support, without which the leaks in the roof would have continued to damage the interior.
