About Us

St James and St Johns ( JJ's) is a warm, welcoming, friendly across generations church community on the  northern edge of Romford. We serve the Hill Rise and Rise Park estates and the village of Havering-atte-Bower. We are relaxed, informal and lively as we worship in 'Spirit and in Truth'. 

We have two church centres. Sunday Worship at St James is on the 1st, 3rd and on occasions the 5th Sundays of the month at 10am. 

But church isn't just about Sundays! 

Amongst other things at St James' Uniformed organisations meet during the week, we have a carers and pre-school children's group and a monthly drop-in.
