About Us

St Barnabas, Downham is a friendly, welcoming church, open to all. We are part of the Catford (Southend) and Downham Team ministry.

The main Sunday Service is a Sung Eucharist at 9.30 a.m. The first Sunday of the month is usually an All-Age Eucharist.

The Church is usually open on Saturday mornings between 9.30 a.m. - 12 Noon for enquiries regarding banns, weddings, baptisms, etc or for the opportunity to spend time in the quiet.
