On 12th March we will be visited by 'Teen Challenge' who will be telling us about their new initiative, in our local area, called 'The Joshua Project.' This is an addiction project. Thousands of young people with serious addictions have been through their programmes and a large majority of them have gone on to live successful and drug free lives.
All welcome. As the content is not suitable for children, we will have our Tiga Club (Sunday School) available in the Church Hall.

St Winifred's, Chigwell

St Win's is a vibrant, growing church in the charismatic tradition. We have a worship group which leads us in upbeat modern songs. On the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, TIGA Club (Trusting in God Always), our children's group for those over 3 meets during the service. There is also a designated creche area with books and soft toys as well as a colouring table for our youngest children.

To enquire about hall bookings, please see the 'Hall Hire' tab on the left.

Safeguarding

The Parish of Chigwell & Chigwell Row is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officers, PSOs. The Diocese of Chelmsford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
