A service to give thanks for our pets, past and present. All pets welcome - furry, scaly, large or small (as long as they are suitably restrained/caged). If this is not possible, bring a photo, or even one of their favourite toys. If they are too large for the church, they can be blessed in the churchyard. We will also take the opportunity to remember much-loved pets that are no longer with us.

Tilty: St Mary the Virgin

Tilty church started out as the gate chapel of a large Cistercian monastery. When this was destroyed during the Reformation, the chapel was allowed to remain as the parish church for the village.

Set in the Essex countryside, this church has a simple serenity and offers a quiet place to come for contemplation and prayer.
