Little Burstead: St Mary the Virgin

Welcome to St Mary`s, Little Burstead. We are an ordinary bunch of people who love Jesus and want to do what it takes to follow Him. We worship in a beautiful medieval parish church a little way outside the village of Little Burstead. We are part of the Billericay and Little Burstead Team Ministry in the Diocese of Chelmsford.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Billericay & Little Burstead is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Chelmsford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO [[email protected]] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor [01245 29 44 44]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
