We first tried "Stir Up" Tuesday  last year, and our older adults loved stirring up the Christmas pudding mixture.  This year we did it again, and the puddings will be cooked by Jennifer, one of our helpers, and then we'll eat  them at our Christmas party on 17 December.  We explained the meaning of Stir Up Sunday and read the prayer for the 25th Sunday after Trinity:

Stir up, O Lord, 
the wills of your faithful people;
that they, richly bearing the fruit of good works,
may by you be richly rewarded;
through Jesus Christ
who is alive with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God now and for ever.
Amen.
