About Us

We are a very welcoming and sociable family church - we enjoy being together during worship and at social gatherings.

St Andrew's forms part of the Benefice of Low Moor & Oakenshaw, but is a parish church in its own right.

Our worship uses a mix of traditional and contemporary music. We want people to be able to worship God and meet with him.

We have good links with Woodlands C. of E Primary School.

We at St Andrew's want people to experience God for themselves; our mission statement is "This church lives to touch Christ and to touch lives". Knowing about God is not enough. There is more. We seek to bless the community in varied ways, not least through providing space for a playgroup and a mums and toddlers group, but our chief desire is that people come to know the power of God and his love and that we see His Kingdom come.
